The Hummer Stronghold is an open-air fencing theater, and an all year open medieval scene - a first of a kind in the Czech Republic. Currently you can witness here many fencing groups, historical artists and craftsmen who, with some exceptions, are not concentrated at one place through-out the year to present and develop what they do the best.

Our aim is to make the qualities and degrees of such amateur and professional historical sword-fighting groups visible on our scene, including historical artists and craftsmen. Wide variety of cooperating troupes gives us the honor to prepare high quality projects based on the requests and wishes of our guests. Fencing performances, music and dance shows, and games for children – including our children’s castle playground, puppet theaters as well as street theaters, craftsmen and marketers, catchy and effective evening programs and historically themed games.

The general investor, contractor and keeper of the Hummer Stronghold are the Hummer Centrum s.r.o. company, and the bursar of all programs is the Czech Association of Historical Fencing.
